Didn’t have any idea for my potluck dish, so I went online and searched for So Good’s cooking show. Found something really easy to make and not time consuming, which is the deep fried shrimp spring rolls. I ended up making it and people actually liked it.
Happy New Year!

December is always a great month. First, there is my favourite uncle’s birthday and then Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, mom’s birthday and New Year’s Eve.
This chocolate truffle cake for my mom was pretty good and sweet but the writing on the cake was pretty bad. It’s not artistic at all. @@

Noah’s Ark parked in Ma Wan Park. ‘Would it be a sign?’
It’s actually a new attraction in Hong Kong. It’s scheduled to be opened in January. Probably will go and have a look.

The show has actually ended but I just got the time to post this entry today. The exhibition was at the Adidas store in Causeway Bay. A local artist, Dorophy Tang, has used 70 baby figures as her canvas. She used blue paint to paint different things and traditional Chinese patterns on the baby figures. The figures are white and glossy and that just gives them a Chinese ceramic feeling.
Love the giant baby cause it’s a little freaky.

Portobello+
A Little Tea House in Soho Hong Kong – It’s a nice cozy place for afternoon tea, and it’s designed like a classic english tea house. It’s recommended to those who want to relax and enjoy fine tea and a slice of something special.
